 The Pentitudes III

"A life is made of pieces of dreams

Sown together by our minds"

"A life is a gift

You must give it back 

It is on loan"

"Why is being who you are

Something you should hide

If this weren't the case

It would be legal"

"God did not make clothes

Men did

So that they can hide

Who they are

From other men"

"What we learn gives what we do meaning"

"If eating has not become a chore 

You are getting fat "

"You could be younger than your biological age 

If you just understood how to eat "

"Having children helped me see past 

he or she is a man or a woman

But to see them as a person "

"The unwillingness to do what needs to be done

Is a product of conflict with what is desired to do "

"The inability to do things

Is a dilemma

That exists only in your mind"

"Life is about how many things you can do well

The successful man concentrates on the important things"

“To balance what one can get away with

With what one must do is; = Qi (Chi)” 

"Life is either a Mourning or a Celebration 

The difference between them is perception"

"The ritual of sleep

to be
Is tied to the reality
Of dying to life
Resting
And rising from the grave 
Every day"

"It is always a pleasure

To talk with
A sensible man"
